  1. Arshad Khan says:

Hello, I am a teacher and I would like use your riddles for my students. Please give me permission to use the riddles.

    Thank you.

    Arshad Khan (sir.arshad@hotmail.com)

    • Lord Karick says:

Hi Arshad, you are more than welcome to use them. I have no rights to them any way – I merely collected them from other places. Best regards, Mike

      • Martial says:

It’s new and old at the same time. What is it?

        Can you solve that riddle

      • Ashely says:

I have a riddle it’s quite easy: “I am a person, you might have a chance of meeting me in one place, I am special and I was killed but I came back to life. who am I?”

    • Lucy Wucy says:

      Here’s an awesome riddle,
You have died and are making your way to heaven, but there is one final test you have to complete before going to heaven. If you get it wrong you go to hell
“your walking along the path when you notice a building with two doors one ether side. You know that one door leads to hell and one leads to heaven. The doors are I identical. Guarding each door are identical twins, one always tells the truth ( cannot lie) and one always tells a lie (cannot tell the truth) you do not know which is which. You can ask one of the guards one question. What do you ask and what do you do with the answer.”
I do Know the answer but try getting it yourself.

      • Siggi says:

You ask them what the other would say was the correct door. (They would both point at the same door).

      • guess_who says:

the honest one would point to the right door but the liar would point at the wrong (the other door) so wouldn’t they be pointing at the wrong doors?

      • John Cena says:

You kick one of them and ask, ‘does that hurt?’. If he says no, you go to the other door. If he says yes, go through that door.

      • John Cena says:

You kick one and ask, “Does that hurt?” If he says no, he’s lying and go through the other door.

      • Brian says:

I would ask, Are you guarding a door?

      • Volker says:

You would ask, what the other guard would say is the door to hell. Both would point to the door to heaven. If you ask the liar: The other one, meaning the one who says the truth, would obviously point to the right door. But the liar of course tells you he would give you the other door as the one to hell. If you ask the one who is turthful, he would say the liar would give you the door to heaven as the one leading to hell. So whomever you ask, you get pointed the “wrong” door, which you know is the door to heaven.

      • guess_who says:

does the identical twin who never lies guard the door to heaven and the liar to hell?

      • Jake Blues says:

You ask either one what the other brother would say is the correct door and then you go through the opposite door!
If you happened to ask the brother that always lies what the other brother would say, he would lie and point to the door to hell.
If you ask the brother that always tells the truth what the other brother would say is the door to heaven, again the answer would be the door to hell. So you go through the other door.
        Voila!

      • Brian says:

You ask one of the guards: “are you guards?”. If they say yes, go through their door and of the say no, go through the other. Hope this is true!

      • Kamiri Jay says:

Just ask one of them, can you see me? Probably he answers no but its sure he can see you as you are right with him. Then ask the other one, can you see me? He’s truthful so he says Yes. The one who said Yes just ask him what the door to Heaven is and walk in confidently. 🙂

      • Kailash Nath says:

I would ask him whether my blood group is O positive. If he says no, I’ll choose the opposite door

      • Jayden says:

You ask one if them are you the liar if they say yes then you as the other one if their the liar if they say no thats the right door

  121. Matthew Wickman says:

a very old riddle I found in a very old book at my schools library and haven’t been able to find it since but have remembered it in case I need it, it’s my favorite riddle and isn’t present here. I’m up and down and round about, yet all the world can’t find me out. Though thousands have employed their leisure, they never yet could find my measure. I’m found in almost every garden, nay, in the compass of a farden. There’s neither chariot, coach, nor mill, may move one inch, except I will.

    • Matthew Wickman says:

The answer for those who are stumped, is a circle, which can be found in the sky (sun/moon), and on the ground (in things like circular fountains or step stones, or dropped coins), and it is round. Thousands used them for various things but for the longest time a mathematical conundrum was how can you Square a Circle which proved for the time nigh impossible. In gardens they can take the appearance of fruits like tomatoes or berries or vegetables such as cabbage, or, again, stepping stones, and “in the compass of a farden” is an obsolete phrase that means “in the circumference* of a farthing” which is a round British coin equaling 1/4 of an old English penny. Lastly no chariot, coach, or mill can move without the aid of a wheel, cog, or pulley, which are circular.
